Udinese is pleased to announce that Magda Pozzo has been elected by the European Club Association (ECA) to be part of the prestigious Sustainability Committee in the 2023/27 cycle.
The first board meeting was yesterday, November 16 2023,  in Geneva.
This working group, made up of just 26 members from over 450 applications, will be instrumental in guiding the ECA's dynamics on the role of European football in sustainability issues, while exploring opportunities for growth and change within the members of the ECA and in UEFA club competitions. The nomination, therefore, gives value to Udinese's widespread commitment, together with its partners, to 360-degree sustainability and opens up new and stimulating perspectives.
“I am delighted to have been selected to be part of the ECA Sustainability Working Group,” said Magda Pozzo. “I am convinced that key stakeholders in the football industry can work together to have zero impact stadiums, reduce waste and be more energy efficient. All combined with concrete activities in the social sphere that involve all stakeholders. I look forward to working with my colleagues and sharing some information on the work we have done at Udinese in the panorama of sustainability in every area."
