Japo Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG will continue to be an Official Partner of Udinese Calcio for the 2024/25 season. C&C renewed its sponsorship of the Friulian club because of the shared goals and values of both parties. Japo is a brand that prides itself, first and foremost, on its connection to the area and its excellent quality, just as Udinese is deeply rooted in the region and is always on the lookout for new talent.

“After a heart-stopping season finale, we celebrated Udinese’s 30-year run in Serie A,” said Gianni Coassin, owner of C&C and long-time supporter of the Friulian club. “It’s an achievement that only four other teams in Italy have managed to match (and better). For the 2024/25 season we have brought the Japo brand back to Bluenergy Stadium, which is one of the most beautiful and welcoming in Europe, and we are proud to be able to continue this collaboration into 2024/25.”

“We are extremely happy to continue the relationship with Japo, which represents authenticity and excellence in the sector,” added Franco Collavino, managing director of Udinese Calcio. “We share the same commitment to the area in our search for excellence and these values set us apart.”

Japo is the jewel in the crown of C&C’s portfolio of wines: a range of sparkling wines that manage to capture the spirit of the Valdobbiadene, a unique landscape of steep hills lined with the Glera vines that are used to make Prosecco. With Japo, C&C has created a range of sparkling wines that are subtle, fresh and fragrant and are perfect for toasting special moments and celebrations. Epitomising the values of the family, Japo is the true flagship of the brand and owes its name to Jacopo Coassin, the joint owner of the company with his father, Gianni.

The Japo range includes the Brut and Extra Dry versions of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Millesimato, the Extra Brut Japo DueGrammi sparkling wine, which is produced with a select vintage from the hills of Valdobbiadene and only two grams of residual sugar, and the Prosecco Rosé Extra Dry Millesimato.
