Udine, May 13 2022. Bluenergy Group, a Friulian multi-utility company which has been Udinese’s Back Jersey Sponsor and Green Energy Partner since 2018, will be heavily involved at Dacia Arena in Udinese’s next fixture. They will enhance the fan experience at Udinese v Spezia which is taking place on Saturday 14 May, having come up with special initiatives for all of the team’s supporters.

Bluenergy will be the Match Sponsor for this weekend’s game, and in collaboration with the Udinese fans they will help create a tifo which is set to be on display at Dacia Arena. It will feature Udinese’s colours and be the perfect accompaniment for everyone at the stadium celebrating Udinese staying in Serie A for yet another season.

In addition, Bluenergy will appear on all kits, clothing, and miscellaneous items used at the team's last home match. Bluenergy-branded spaces will be set up in the hospitality area of the stadium where information and freebees for fans will be given out.

Bluenergy Group's ties with Udinese and the sporting world beyond are strong and long-lasting. For the 2022/23 season Bluenergy will continue to be the club’s Back Jersey Sponsor and Green Energy Partner by supplying gas and electricity to the Dacia Arena. The stadium will continue to be powered by renewable energy-certified sources and gas with compensated emissions. Thanks to green energy the club has managed to avoid using 2,228.68 tonnes of CO2.

Udinese General Director Franco Collavino had the following to say about the collaboration:

"Bluenergy’s values are in perfect harmony with our own. They are market leaders in their field and have achieved a great deal in the industry.

"What’s more, both of us are fighting on the same front for environmental sustainability, and in collaboration with Bluenergy we have already taken important strides forward in this regard. This has allowed us to have a CO2-free Dacia Arena and we’ve got a realistic ambition of making it the first truly green stadium in Italy.

"This is why we are delighted to have this fan initiative take place this weekend and have Bluenergy on our shirts once more next season as the as Back Jersey Sponsor."

As for Bluenergy Group, CEO Alberta Gervasio was also keen to give their thoughts on the partnership:

"Our collaboration with Udinese was conceived with the common aim of implementing sustainable initiatives and actions which are capable of minimising the energy impact that an important stadium such as the Dacia Arena has on the environment. The results achieved by this have been astonishing.

"We offer a lot of support to the region in which we operate, as do the club. We never forget how important fans are; they are the true soul of the team and we’re always keen to involve them in new initiatives.

“There are many Udinese supporters working for Bluenergy employees and this season we wanted to celebrate the return of fans by inviting all our collaborators to the stadium to celebrate the last home match together."
