Udinese let another home lead slip to draw 2-2 at home against Sassuolo.

The hosts were a goal to the good by half time, with Lorenzo Lucca putting us ahead just before the break. Roberto Pereyra then doubled Udinese’s lead shortly after the restart, and all seemed rosy.

However, Martin Payero was sent off for Gabriele Cioffi’s side on the hour mark, which gave the visitors impetus. Domenico Berardi then scored two penalties - the second coming just before the end of the match – to level the scores and send Udinese away feeling disappointed.

Next up is Torino away, on Saturday 23 December.
